We WERE doing well...then life happened and we worked late, starving when we got home so we ordered a pizza! Ouch! Actually, the spaghetti squash with sauteed veggies the following night was very tasty. If you think about it, pasta really doesn't have much taste by itself; its amazing with a pat of butter, or a variety of sauces...it is even better raw than cooked! Spaghetti squash doesn't have much taste by itself either but with sauteed vegetables in a little olive oil and garlic, it was tasty and healthy. I'm convinced small gains are best, and not to expect too much too soon. This morning we had brunch at a local restaurant and ordered omelets with vegetables instead of meat. Breakfast is the most important AND delicious meal of the day for me! It is all about choices...
