Day 2...we're doing well. I was up at 5 this morning and walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes - not sure if the woman in the apartment above us thought it was such a great idea. It would be an easy out to stop the early morning treadmill, but that only means I will have to do it when I get home from work and do a pilates cd in the morning...I take 500+/- steps to and from my vehicle parked in the mill parking lot, had to go to the morning meeting so I took the 67 stairs in my steel-toed boots, then at noon I had to go to the post office so another 500+/- steps to and from the vehicle. We got home from work around 4 p.m., by 4:45, I was done dinner and plate in the sink! Together we made a lovely Italian Chicken and Ar-Ti-Choke soup. Start to finish it was less than 30 mintues to prepare and cook. Helps that I baked a chicken yesterday and used that instead of cooking more chicken! And, 322 calories later, feeling full. It is a little 'dangerous' to eat before 5:00 p.m. because by 8-8:30, it is snack time - and we all know eating after 8 is not a good idea. Maybe I should go to bed by 7:55 to avoid eating again!
